Corduroy calls to mind the best of times. The nostalgia-laden fabric has a way of appearing in photos of our favorite memories—and for good reason—its soft yet durable fabric is ideal for anything from climbing to beach cruising, hiking to hanging fireside.
These 70’s California-inspired Corduroy Shorts are designed to make the style even more comfortable and flattering. Tailoring and a contoured waistband offer more shape than the boxy fits of the past. Plus, 14 wale cotton corduroy in muted, easy-to-pair colors is pre-washed for softness, while signature details and large front patch pockets offer function and style.
- Features: Classic corduroy inspired by Birdwell archives with SurfNyl™️ contrast button fly. Contoured waistband especially for women. Large front patch pockets and signature right back pocket. Button fly and pocket edging in contrast SurfNyl™️. Damask “Classic Birdie” patch at back of waistband. Real wood buttons.
- Fit: Standard length. Narrow 1.5” waistband. Outseams range between 10” - 12.5” depending on your waist size.
- Fabric: 100% cotton 14 wale corduroy with SurfNyl™️ contrast fly and pocket edge. Pre-washed.
- Construction: Clean finished single- and double-needle topstitching with dyed-to-match thread. Bar tacked stress points. Hand cut and sewn in Los Angeles.
- Care: Machine wash cold. No Bleach. HANG DRY ONLY.

Made to hug a woman’s hips! I’m in love! So very comfy and amazingly well made - from the beautiful and sturdy button fly to the soft cotton corduroy. I now have three pairs and just wish our New England summers were longer. Please bring back navy and maybe a white or chalk color. This 70s girl thanks you.
